Medical imaging platform
Client anonymous: a dental clinic network and a diagnostic center. Studies used to travel on USB sticks and by email, and every workstation needed its own viewer installed.
USB sticks, email, waiting. Now — a link. And everything opens.
The network grew, and so did the operational chaos
Medical studies were passed around on USB sticks and by email. The patient waited, the clinician waited, files got mixed up, data went missing, studies arrived late, and the team spent hours moving data by hand.
The software was the second problem. A dedicated viewer had to be installed for every surgeon, every clinician, in every clinic, on every workstation — with the installs, updates, support, failures and device dependency that come with it.
One platform for the whole network
AI4Live built a centralized DICOM platform: one system for the entire clinic network, where studies are uploaded, stored and opened in the browser with nothing installed on the clinician’s computer.
From 3 clinics to around 15
The project launched with three clinics. Around fifteen are connected today, and the platform is being developed into a standalone SaaS product, with a wider regional rollout as the next step.
The clinician opens the study in one click
The patient does not wait. The data is not lost. Nobody forwards files by hand.
